Performance Appraisal

Monitor your employees with a thorough assessment

Assess employees with an evaluation system that delivers good results for the company.

Appraisal Method

The HR admin or manager creates a questionnaire that is distributed to and completed by all employees. Questions can ask, for example, how “A” behaves in the office, with multiple-choice answers. Respondents can be teammates or members of the same division. The answers show how “A” relates to others, and vice versa.

A thorough assessment provides important benefits for the development of the company

Provide feedback

From team, self, 360, or manager reviews, you get feedback in the form of data.

Evaluation for improvement

From team, self, 360, or manager reviews, you get feedback in the form of data.

Employee relationship

HR can see the relationships between employees and take action immediately if needed.

Types of Appraisal

Team Review

A team review is an appraisal within a team or division, with all team members as evaluators. Each member can evaluate their teammates, and vice versa.

Self Review

Self review is a type of appraisal to assess yourself. In this type, each employee answers the admin’s questions about themselves.

Manager Review

A manager review is a type of appraisal in which subordinates assess their manager, or managers assess their subordinates. In this type, subordinates can assess their managers together, and managers can assess their subordinates.

360 Review

Like a team review, a 360 review involves all employees, but the scope is wider: it can cover an entire department or the whole company. From manager level to staff, they can give their respective assessments of others.

Appraisal Characteristics

Subjective Assessment

Assessment given using appraisal is very relative, which means it depends on taste, approach, relationships and others. However, a subjective assessment also gives more candid results.

Assessment of the Individual and Personality

Appraisal is a method of assessing the personality, behavior, communication, and characteristics of an employee when they are working, or when they are in the office.

Questionnaire or Interview Method

To get real results, HR can create a survey for all employees to answer.

A thorough and general assessment

The results of the appraisal assessment are also not specific and in-depth, because they are based on assumptions, preferences, and other people’s relative points of view, and do not significantly reflect the employee’s performance.
